Gale Virtual Library - http://go.galegroup.com/ps/start.do?p=GVRL&u=sdsl_rapidcity

I am having difficulty with bunions.  I found a 4 very informative articles on that subject.
This search tool seems to very comprehensive and complete.

I did find that critical essay on "The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn."  It seemed to be very complete with lots of good information.

As I began taking the test, it seemed like a lot of information to read.  I did enjoy the quiz and especially the results.  It seemed to be very clear and immediate as to what the results were which I like.

Under job searching and resume writing I saw that the information was very thorough.  If I was looking for a job, I would use this information.  In the K-5 teaching I'm doing I would use this very little.

When I typed in various search terms I noticed that in some areas there was plenty of information; tests, courses and ebooks.  In the case of some of the searches I completed there was not much available.

January 23,

As I previewed World Book Kids and World Book Students I noticed a major difference in the amount of information.  I did a search on "lions." I did it in both research tools and World Book Students offered many more options with much more information within each option.

I noticed with World Book Discoverer it was very easy to bring up information and quickly switch the language you were using.

I'm not sure where to find "World Book Foreign Language Edition?"

The South Dakota Library Challenge: Electronic Resources Edition was developed by the South Dakota State Library staff to introduce you to the statewide subscription electronic resources. The Electronic Resources Challenge encourages library staff and "information media specialists" to learn more about the resources that provide expanded access to information and research tools to all schools, libraries and citizens of South Dakota. It is your chance to Explore...Discover...Play!...and Learn about the statewide subscription resources and how they can be useful to you both personally and in your library. This is an opportunity for me to learn at a pace that is comfortable for me and to share my learning experience with your colleagues in the South Dakota library community.

For more information about the Electronic Resources Challenge, check out our FAQ and Getting Started Pages. Please contact us if you have any questions.
